Is Kitslancer really free? Free forever?
Yes — Kitslancer has a free tier forever, not a trial, no credit card required. Covers Kanban + task management, real-time time tracking, Thai invoices + proposals (with PromptPay QR), basic WHT + VAT math, share links for clients, unlimited clients + projects. Enough to get started.
How is this different from Notion / Trello / FlowAccount?
Kitslancer is built specifically for Thai freelancers — WHT 3%, 50 ทวิ certificates, PromptPay QR, ภ.ง.ด. 90/91/94 math, all built-in, no templates to assemble. Notion/Trello are flexible but require setup. FlowAccount is VAT accounting software, not a freelance workflow. Kitslancer combines CRM + project + invoice + tax in one product.
How does the tax math work? Which ภ.ง.ด. forms are supported?
Supports personal income tax ภ.ง.ด. 90/91/94, withholding tax (WHT) 1%/3%/5%, VAT 7%, and platform fees. Pulls data from projects + invoices automatically. At year-end you immediately know your tax bill — no spreadsheet aggregation needed.
Are recurring invoices for retainers supported?
Yes. Pro tier supports recurring invoices (monthly/quarterly/yearly). The system issues invoices on schedule and sends reminders. Great for maintenance / monthly retainer work.
Is PromptPay + QR supported?
Yes — every Thai invoice includes a PromptPay QR code. Clients scan and pay instantly without typing an account number — reduces payment friction.
Can I track time per project? Can I bill by the hour?
Yes — Kitslancer has real-time time tracking with an active timer. Track time per project/task, see hours summed per project, and turn tracked hours into an invoice billed at your hourly rate automatically — no need for a separate Toggl/Clockify.
Is there a hire-me profile to share with clients? Can clients hire me directly?
Yes — your hire-me profile is a public page at app.kitslancer.com/u/your-handle. It's your own page: show services, pricing, portfolio and contact links (you can include your Fastwork link), with an inquiry form so clients reach you directly, plus view/click stats. Share one link anywhere (IG bio, LINE, business card) and it's findable on Google — your own page, not a listing on someone's marketplace.
Can I accept crypto from international clients?
Yes, on the Pro tier — add a USDT/USDC wallet on Tron (TRC20), Ethereum, Base, or Arbitrum, or a Bitcoin address, and Kitslancer shows the address + QR on your invoice so overseas clients can pay directly, with automatic on-chain payment detection. Great for getting paid in stablecoins and avoiding FX / cross-border transfer fees.
Can I export my data? What if I want to switch platforms?
Yes. Pro tier includes CSV export of everything (clients, projects, invoices, expenses, time entries). Your data is yours — no lock-in.
What does Pro add over Free? How much does it cost?
Pro is ฿399/month or ฿3,490/year (~27% saving). It adds: removing the "Powered by Kitslancer" footer from invoices/proposals, in-depth reports + tax/WHT reports, recurring invoices, CSV export, proposal + invoice templates, GitHub integration, the AI Assistant (chat with your live data + draft proposals + save notes), on-demand AI weekly summaries in chat, and priority support.
What can the AI Assistant do? Is it safe?
The AI Assistant pulls live data from your own account — projects, invoices, finance, time tracking, notes/knowledge graph — and answers in plain language. It does not invent numbers: it fetches only the data needed for each question, so every answer is traceable back to your records. Beyond answering questions, it can draft proposals (SOW) and save notes from the same chat — every create/edit action shows a confirm card before it actually runs. Your data is not used to train models.
Is there a mobile app? Can I use it on a phone?
Works in the browser on any device — the web is responsive on mobile/tablet. No native mobile app yet, but it's being developed.
Is there a Chrome extension that works with Fastwork?
Yes — it's Kitslancer's own Chrome extension, free from the Chrome Web Store. Jot tasks/notes from any page, run a work timer, and tidy your own Fastwork chats (pin, tag, hide — just for your own view). If you want, you can choose to save clients, projects or invoices into Kitslancer yourself (an opt-in Pro feature — you decide what gets kept; nothing is pulled automatically). Requires a free Kitslancer account.
How much do freelancers need to earn before paying tax? Do I have to file?
A freelancer with assessable income (not regular salary) over ฿60,000/year (single, or ฿120,000 if married) must file personal income tax — even if the calculation ends up at zero owed. How much you actually pay depends on net income after deductions (e.g. Section 40(2) income deducts 50%, capped at ฿100,000) plus the ฿60,000 personal allowance. Kitslancer calculates this automatically from your real income, so you know all year how much to set aside.
What's the difference between a quotation, billing note, and invoice? Does Kitslancer issue them all?
A quotation proposes the price before work starts; an invoice/billing note collects payment when due; a receipt is issued after payment lands. Kitslancer issues all of them in Thai, attaches a PromptPay QR, and shares them via a link clients can open without logging in.
Clients pay late or skip payment — how does Kitslancer help?
It helps from before work starts — send a quotation for the client to confirm and set a deposit invoice before you begin. Along the way it tracks which invoices are unpaid/overdue, sends automatic reminders, and the CRM records each client's payment behavior so you spot risky ones in advance. Every document is kept as proof of engagement if you need to follow up.
How do I prevent endless revisions (scope creep)?
Start with a Proposal/SOW that clearly states the scope and the number of revisions included. When out-of-scope work appears, use Scope Change Tracking to log it as evidence and issue an add-on invoice right away — so the client sees clearly what's in the original deal versus what's billed extra, cutting endless revisions.
